Rudolf Robert WOLF was born in 1877 in Leipzig and died in 1940 in Munich. He studied at the Dresden Academy with Viktor Paul Mohn and in Munich with William von Diez. He excelled as an illustrator and caricaturist and contributed to numerous publications.
