Paul Paede was born in 1868 in Berlin and died in Munich in 1929. He studied at the Munich Academy with Ludwig von Loefftz and was soon extremely successful with his works in Munich artistic society. Paede is famous as an impressionist painter of nudes. This is an oil study by the artist.
