Karl HEMMERLEIN was born in Fürth in 1896. He studied in Nuremberg and at
the Academy of Art in Munich where he was a pupil of Professor Jank. Exhibitions of
his work have been held in Denmark, Sweden, France, Hungary, and in Germany where
he is represented in many public collections. Hemmerlein died in 1970.
